We incorporate as much learning as we do fitness into our services ! Our team advise and share knowledge about nutrition,
medications and health issues, in order to aid your understanding of your body and health. Alongside the health side we also work on building resilience, learning relaxation methods, understanding the mind and body connections all in order to improve your overall quality of living across all components.
Activities whilst engaging in fitness stimulate various systems within the body and contribute to maintaining a strong physical health. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and reduce your risk for certain types of cancer alongside multiple major long term illnesses.
Our services allow us to reach out and reintegrate those who often feel marginalised within our communities with the aim to build on social skills, decrease loneliness and anxiety whilst increasing the sense of community amongst those who often feel left out. The Augmented team and our participants try their best to ensure we create a welcoming environment and effectively create change to individuals and the communities they make up.
